Done properly, employee training and development can provide a company with a considerable return on investment. After all, people are usually the biggest asset an organisation has. The challenge to business owners and entrepreneurs wanting to compete both locally and in a global environment is the development of the people to manage the business and drive the sales.
Before starting InspectRealEstate, Andrew Reece co-owned ProRentals – a property management company in Brisbane which grew from a humble 30 properties under management to 1,756. Seeking the opportunity to provide the real estate industry with the same software he developed at ProRentals, Andrew and his business partner sold the business in 2011 to pursue what would be become InspectRealEstate – The customised, agent-branded, online booking system that allows prospective tenants (or buyers) to automatically book inspections online for properties.
Today, many ProRentals’ employees run their own businesses thanks to Andrew’s leadership style and its one that continues at InspectRealEstate – which has a small army of self-employed company evangelists.
