Where are the keys!?

It is a common catch-cry from salespeople, property managers, receptionists and business owners in real estate agencies everywhere.

Amongst all of the new uber-cool tech devices on display at Inman in San Francisco last July, there was one device in particular that I think could help solve a few problems for real estate professionals and make them look pretty cool to clients and prospects in the process.

Enter TrackR bravo.

TrackR bravo is a small, coin-sized device that easily attaches to your valuable items. With the TrackR app, you can locate any lost or misplaced item (such as your keys) in seconds using TrackR’s Distance Indicator or via Crowd GPS. While there are similar devices available on the Australian market already, TrackR bravo takes it to another level with the added functionality of a two-way separation alert and the ability to have your agency branding applied with custom laser engraving; Making it the perfect gift idea for new home buyers.

Founders Chris Herbert, Christian Smith and their team set out to raise $20,000 USD on crowd funding website Indigogo. At the time of this post, they have raised $1,354,593 USD from a legion of fans to help make their idea become a reality. 

While the official launch isn’t until early 2015, you can pre-order yours now via the TrackR website.

Could this give you a little ‘wow factor’ with clients and prospects? Definitely. Could you reduce the amount of keys that go missing from your property management department when handing them out to tradespeople and tenants? Potentially. Is it just another cool gadget? Well, maybe.

But that didn’t stop us from pre-ordering a bunch of them as gifts for our clients.
